Dr. Michael Cantara, DPT
Dr. Michael Cantara has been a pediatric physical therapist for over 25 years. He graduated from NYU physical therapy school in 1996, has an Advanced Masters Degree in Pediatric Developmental Disability from NYU, and a Clinical Doctorate with a Focus in Motor Learning from SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Cantara is also a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association - which is a distinction that less than 1 percent of all pediatric therapists in the country are able to obtain. He loves working with medically fragile children and is a devoted father to three boys.

Shoshana Reich, CCC-SLP
Shoshana is a speech-language pathologist who completed her Master of Science from Adelphi University and earned her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) in 2009. With her Hebrew language background, she has also achieved an Israeli teaching license. Over the years, Shoshana has treated clients with deficits in literacy, articulation, social skills, expressive language delays, receptive language delays, fluency disorders, speech sound production disorders, central auditory processing (CAPD) & auditory processing and executive function. Shoshana prides herself on keeping children engaged and taking pride in their therapeutic accomplishments while helping them meet their functional outcomes.

Janice Isaac, LMSW
Janice is an innovative professional and qualified licensed Social Worker, earning her MSW at Adelphi University, with over twenty plus years of extensive and diverse social work, child welfare, and administrative experience in both the private and public sector with the ability to assess and develop effective interventions for children and families to ensure decisions are appropriate to child safety, well-being, and permanence. Indeed, Janice has a genuine love for children it is her priority to be their voice and advocate.
She is dedicated to strengthening outcomes by providing families & children with the necessary support and tools to reach their maximum potential. In Janice's free time, she also enjoys traveling, & engaging in her self-care regimen including Zumba, massages, and acupuncture.

Sara Ann Gill, LMSW
My name is Sara Anne. For 2 years now, I have worked with Bright Future for the Children. When I am not working at Bright Future, I work at a city hospital on a behavioral unit. My favorite thing about working with the children is when I see the child start to understand what we have been working on. My favorite game to play with kids is peekaboo. In my time off from work, I enjoy going on long walks in central park.

Daisy Floyd, COTA/L
Daisy Floyd is a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) who graduated from LaGuardia Community College (LAGCC) with Honors and while attending, she was the President of the Student Occupational Therapy Assistant (SOTA) club. Daisy decided to become an occupational therapist assistant because she always had a passion for helping others as well as seeing the best in people. She believes everyone has a special talent, some just need a little help bringing it to the surface. Daisy has worked with children with special needs for 10+ years and over the years, she has learned a little love, patience, and creativity can go a long way!

Victoria Bruscella, CCC-SLP
Victoria is a licensed speech-language pathologist in New York State. She currently holds her Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities Certification (TSSLD), and Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-SLP). Victoria is trained in both PROMPT (Level 1) and ABA. In addition, Victoria is also trained in various Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and programs. Victoria has over 10 years of experience working with children and young adults ranging in age from 0-21. Throughout her career as a speech-language pathologist, Victoria has worked with children and young adults with receptive and expressive language delays, articulation disorders, motor speech disorders, developmental/genetic disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and feeding difficulties.

Olympia Jarboe, MA, LMSW
Olympia works with Bright Future as a Family Training Social Worker, Special Instructor and Applied Behavioral Analyst Therapist. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary from the University at Buffalo, SUNY, a Master of Social Work from Stony Brook University, SUNY, and a Master of Arts in International Education from New York University. As a Social Worker she has worked with children for the last 13 years in areas such as: early childhood mental health, child welfare, and foster care prevention. Olympia has served as a youth coordinator at church for the last 11 years. She loves working with children because they are eager, teachable, and energetic. Olympia is currently pursuing a PhD and studying to become a childbirth and postpartum educator.

Carol Magaro, LMSW
Carol Magaro, LMSW, graduated from Columbia University in 1982. She has worked with children, adults and families in a variety of diagnostic, clinical, child care and residential settings. Carol has extensive experience in the Developmental Disabilities field ranging from evaluation of young children to residential services for adults. Currently she is an administrator of two residential foster care sites for expectant and parenting teen mothers. Carol works evenings and Saturdays with the EI program, loving every minute of it. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing a child do something for the first time or hearing a parent say, "I never knew they could do that!" according to Carol. Performing in live theatre has always been a passion for Carol. Carol feels her dramatic side helps her bring the necessary animation to her sessions and helps engage the little ones playfully in the work at hand.

Lynette Mills-Nevills, MS
Lynette Mills-Nevills has enjoyed working with children for 15 years while obtaining a B.Sc (Psych) with a concentration in Human Development. While running an Early Education Center and finishing a M.S with a concentration in Forensic Psychology, she discovered her passion for working with children with developmental delays and being an advocate for families in the community. It is important that families have the pathway to resources available to provide the best opportunities for the future generations. Lynette says she is honored to take part in providing a bright future for our youngest and most vulnerable demographic as a Bright Future Service Coordinator.

Aisha Demosthenes, M. S.
CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Aisha Demosthenes attended LIU- Brooklyn and is a bilingual speech language pathologist who has been practicing for 13 years. She is passionate about helping children communicate and advocate for themselves through her early intervention work. She is especially proud to provide these services for the Haitian community. Aisha looks forward to working as an early intervention provider for years to come!

Jasmin Milliner, LCSW
Jasmin Milliner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in the state of New York. She graduated from Binghamton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. From there she went to New York University where she obtained a Masters in Social Work. She received her License Master of Social Work (LMSW) in 2014 and her License Clinical Social Work (LCSW) in 2020. She has worked with children and their families for over 10 years dedicating her career to servicing and supporting our youth in various communities and settings. Working with her you can expect a collaborative approach to reach your child’s fullest potential.

Christina Lousell, CCC-SLP, TSSLD
Christina Lousell has been a speech-language pathologist for 3 years. She attended Lehman College to receive her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Speech Language Pathology. She currently holds a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) certification. Christina serves clients in the Bronx and Weschester County areas. Throughout her career, Christina has worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), receptive and expressive language disorders, learning disabilities, and articulation disorders.

Martine Claude, OTR/L
Martine Claude OTR/L MS., BS. graduated from Touro College. She has been working with Bright Future as an occupational therapist for four years now. First, she started as a treating therapist, then, as a COTAs supervisor. Martine's favorite thing about working with children and their families is forming that bond and witnessing the improvement - the little breakthrough that most take for granted. She enjoys the versatile aspects of a session, and the creative challenge of meeting the child's and family's needs. As a superisor, Martine enjoys communicating & collaborating with the COTAs to achieve the most effective intervention to assist the children and their families.

Sharonda Owens, LMSW
Sharonda Owens has worked with Bright Future for the Children as a Special Instructor (SI) and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapist for 3 years. She obtained her Master’s of Social Work from Lehman College in 2015 and License Master of Social Work (LMSW) in 2019. Sharonda has worked with children for the past 9 years - specifically, children on the autism spectrum, brain injuries and intellectual developmental disabilities. What Sharonda appreciates the most about this profession is that she can continue to remain true to herself by always being energetic and enthusiastic while simultaneously helping each child blossom into the best version of themselves. When Sharonda not working at Bright Future, she enjoys exploring various social outing and traveling the world!
